Rosehill stable in isolation after COVID-19 positive

A racing stable at Rosehill is in isolation after a staff member tested positive to COVID-19 on Wednesday.

Racing NSW stewards confirmed to the Herald and The Age that a stablehand had returned a positive result on his day off and was therefore not at work on the day.

COVID protocols were immediately enacted by Racing NSW, who began testing all members of staff at the stable on the same day and all tests returned so far have been negative.

It is understood the stable was unable to work its horses on Thursday as part of the precautionary measures.
